Stanton Lacy Church

We are pleased to announce that the relocation of the font at Staton Lacy Church was completed in December 2024. It was a fantastic project to be involved in.

The process included the removal of the font from its existing location, as well as removing the concrete base. This involved digging out and relaying matching York stone flooring. We had a little surprise when lifting some of the original flooring; bones were discovered. Legally, we had to call the police, and it was later determined that the bones were historic.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in the improvements at Staton Lacy Church. A special thanks to Graham Groom Builders for contracting us to carry out the work.
